Neptune Beach is a beautiful and laid back little beachside community just east of Jacksonville, FL. Neptune Beach has a definite relaxed, residential atmosphere and is very inviting. You will find some tourists here but the majority of the people you meet live here (or at least in the greater Jacksonville area). Neptune is one of the most popular beaches around Jacksonville and is just a cool place to hang out.
One of our favorite places to visit here (besides the beach itself) is Brewhound Dog Park & Bar. This is one of the coolest little dog parks ever! You bring your dog, let them run around with lots of other dogs and get their ya-ya’s out while you enjoy a nice brew (be it beer, wine, coffee or other) that you can purchase at the bar area. There’s tons more on this and I’m sure I’ll do a video on it one day soon! But trust me, if you are a dog owner, it’s a fabulous place!
There are lots of parks, boutique shops, bars and restaurants to visit all over the Neptune Beach area. If you are in the little town center area you’ll find some cool art pieces, including this large cat sculpture.
Look at how beautiful and peaceful this beach is! This area truly is a locals favorite and the sense of community is very welcoming.
