Hi there! Thanks for taking the time to read a little about me. I’m Lisa Alford, the Broker/Owner of SoJax Realty. I’m a married mom of three grown kids with 2 little fur babies. My corgi Pepper pops into my marketing from time to time. She likes to be a part of the action! My husband and I live in the Mandarin community of Jacksonville, FL and love it here. You might find us playing pickleball at Flynn Park, out dancing, having dinner or we may be chillin’ and listening to music by the pool.
Why the name SoJax?
“So” stands for both southern and south. I’m a southern gal born and raised. You’ll know it when you hear me talk! I can’t hide it and don’t want to so I decided to give it a hug and go with it. Also, I mainly work in the the Southern half of Jacksonville so – it all just kind of fit!
“Your X Factor in Real Estate”
This slogan came about for a couple of reasons. First, I’m a proud member of Gen X. While I once hated to be defined by anything, I now wear that sh*! like a badge of honor! Being Gen X myself, on my YouTube and blogs I’ll frequently cover topics that are of concern to those 50+. I also have a more extensive background than many agents out there. I was a real estate paralegal for 15 years prior to becoming a broker in 2012. This unique background combination gives me a ton of knowledge in many areas of real estate that most agents don’t have, including: excellent marketing and sales experience, a thorough understanding of closing documents, title, survey and other issues that can come up along the way. Over the years, my background and skills have saved my customers a lot of money and headaches.
A Little More
I am experienced in all kinds of transactions from multi-million dollar homes to $50,000 mobile homes. I take the same care and pride in every transaction no matter what the price tag. My philosophy on working with a customer is “Every customer deserves the very best that I can provide to them. No matter how big or small the house is, it’s likely THEIR biggest investment.” My marketing goes above and beyond the “norm” and encompasses many different avenues which I will be happy to personally explain at a listing appointment.
